Young office worker wins with first lottery purchase

The lucky one for this draw is Ms Chong from Kluang, Johor, an office worker born in the 1980s. She told Big Sweep staff that she was not in the habit of betting or buying lottery tickets. During her morning market run with her mother, they saw Big Sweep lotteries being sold at a DaMaCai shop. Her mother encouraged her to buy a few tickets to test their luck and to contribute to charity.

Ms Chong shared, "As it was my first time seeing Big Sweep tickets, my mother said that I might have beginner’s luck. Since she does buy the tickets habitually, I took her advice and bought some. She added, “My mother called me after the draw and told me that I have won a lottery prize! Excitedly, I confirmed by checking my tickets against the results.” Ms Chong felt happy and lucky that RM3 provided her a chance to win this prize. In future she will continue her support by buying Big Sweep lotteries within her ability.

When asked of her plan for this sudden bonus, she smiled and said she would gladly use this prosperous wealth to invest for future and to support her family’s household expenses.

As of 2021, Pan Malaysian Sweep Sdn Bhd has donated 26 million Ringgit to the YCF, a charitable organization dedicated to nurturing talent through education.
